You’ll be Responsible for in depth Supplier Quality data analysis for the Supplier Quality team and systems duties in a busy, fast-paced factory manufacturing environment.

Their UK operation employs around 1300 people covering existing and start-up operations spanning eight locations including several depots across the country including a vast manufacturing facility here in the UK.

The company have secured a number of high profile orders with full life cycle maintenance contracts to manufacture and maintain over 200 brand new trains and as a result, will look to increase their headcount to 2000 by 2020 to meet the demands of these contracts.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

This Data Analyst position will ideally suit an SAP Superuser, who can use their skills to create tracking and reporting tools to enable the Supplier Quality team to plan and make decisions based on the information their programs generate. This is a brand-new position which will offer you the opportunity to make the role your own. Are you up for the challenge?

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Data Analyst SAP Superuser for the Supplier Quality team you will manage and interrogate data from the system while analysing and presenting real time live data from SAP for business decision making.

You’ll ensure that up to the minute data is available on supplier performance so that effective decision making can take place within the supplier quality teams as well as developing data at various levels of detail, from overall site supplier performance (ratings, league tables showing top/bottom performers) to detailed individual supplier performance portfolios.

You’ll be tasked with designing and delivering a comprehensive suite of KPI’s for the Supplier Quality Team and interrogating the business Data Management IT System (SAP) and creating meaningful reports and metrics.

You will also provide support to the 3 managers in the Supplier Quality team (Head of Supplier Quality, Supplier Performance Manager, Supplier Development Manager) in arranging and attending meetings (including meetings with external suppliers) and taking and typing notes, sending out meeting minutes and action lists, following up progress with the required action owners.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experienced in using data management systems (ideally SAP) for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience of working within a similar role ideally in a manufacturing / Quality function.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight time-scales.
  • Professional and Confident
  • Pro-active and self-motivated with good timekeeping.

THE SALARY

£31,673 + Excellent Pension + Healthcare + 25 Days Holiday + BH
