We are currently dealing with a major Rail Engineering contractor who are looking to expand there HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental) team by recruiting a Performance and Assurance Analyst based in Derby who is extremely proficient in IT and Systems assist the HSQE team to maintain full engagement in meeting business objectives.

As the performance and assurance analyst you job duties can include, but not limited to:
- Collate all accidents, incidents and close calls and place in the database and upload to client organisations at the agreed frequencies.
- Prepare statistics for corporate and client specific (Regional) reporting requirements to the required timescales.
- Maintain the database on accident, incidents and close call investigations and remedial actions/recommendations ensuring that these are closed out to the required timescales and with appropriate evidence.
- Carry out trend analysis on the causes of accidents, incidents and close calls and prepare a monthly report for issue to the SPL Powerlines Executive through the Safety & Services Report.
- Collate key performance indicators (KPIs) for submission to client organisations and internally
- Assist the Head of Business Systems & Assurance in the development and implementation of a corporate Assurance Programme
- Maintain an assurance database across all activities and provide trends and remedial actions to improve performance and compliance.
Job Requirements
- Ideally a Graduate
- Strong background in IT databases and different systems.
- Producing reports and being able to analyse the data and interpret trends to establish any issues or pre-empt areas for concern.
- Ideally basic understanding of the railway and simple terminology
