We have a quite unique contract opportunity for an Analyst with a Rail organisation, tasked with an overview of the rail sector, ensuring railways area as safe and efficient as possible.
Based in a great Central London location, you will be going in on a 6 month contract within their Research & Development department, to take on analytical tasks including research towards business cases for new projects, detailed assessment on existing knowledge and industry implementation of existing projects.
You will be tasked with building knowledge of the existing rail landscape, some guidance will be provided to a point of autonomy on tasks. Obtaining information from key stakeholders to gain enough information to build cases for investment for developing existing projects or new projects.
Successful candidate will have strong analysis skills and an ability to gather, structure and analyse both quantitative and qualitative information. Strong communication skills area must with strong team working ethic and organisational skills. Ideally coming from a Science or Economics degree background, with ability to pick up engineering concepts quickly and awareness to make estimates on commercial costs.
