Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Experts are recruiting a Revenue Analyst that will work within the Commercial team ensuring implementation of optimal revenue strategies and coordinating the delivery of revenue risk mitigation. The main purpose of this position will be to evaluate major timescale operations.
The Opportunity
This is an ideal opportunity for someone to join an established Train Operating company based in the Midlands, who have a real passion in delivering over 400 exceptional train services daily. This role will give you the chance to stamp your mark on a unique role within the company.
The Candidate
You will be a self-motivated individual who has knowledge of working in the Rail industry. Solving complex issues quickly and having a high level of attention to detail is key. Through the motivation and positive attitude, you must become an excellent role model within the team.
Location: Derby
Role and Responsibilities
- Identify and communicate possible revenue risks as a result of industry projects.
- Identify and commercial mitigation's to lost Revenue,
- Implement relevant KPI's in order to track Revenue performance post timetable changed and continually update strategies as required.
- Supporting the Revenue Manager with development of regular reports.
- Liaising with the Marketing team to understand the effectiveness of their campaigns and provide accurate forecasting of future campaigns.
- Support the Strategic Analysis Manager when required to develop a Revenue model.
- Support reviews of pricing changes required due to timetable changes or other industry projects, including ongoing pricing strategy.
- Support the Car Park pricing strategy.
Essentials
- Must be from a Rail background.
- Analytical experience
- Excellent understanding of passenger rail income and demand drivers for rail.
- Highly numerate with strong excel skills and industry wide management information systems i.e. Orcats or Lennon.
