What is your assignment?
Following on from some successful trials and deployments around the UK, Dual Inventive is now looking to accelerate its growth within the UK by further establishing its practices, products and services around the country.
We are looking for someone to enhance the visibility of Dual Inventive within the UK rail sector in order to expand its existing customer base by encouraging new customers to look at the benefits our unique products can provide. This includes new customers within the varied Network Rail business streams.
How do you achieve this?
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible primarily for business development and when established, key account management. You will be able to combine new business activities with a strategic vision for customer engagement, proactively driving our business forward. Your focus will primarily be on Network Rail.
You will also seek out opportunities within those contracting organisations providing services to Network Rail and the TOC’s throughout the UK. A further key development will be within Transport for London (including LUL, LOLER, DLR and Croyden Tram).
You will be working from our office in Doncaster as part of the UK team, although you will also have frequent contact with your colleagues in Europe. However, a part of your working week will consist of visiting potential new clients and our national accounts. You will report to the Board, based in the Netherlands.
What will you bring to the table?
Ideally, you will be commercially driven, with some experience within technical sales and have an extensive network of contacts to assist in our development plans. A basic understanding of telecommunications will also be an advantage.
- Ability to generate business growth by building relationships and developing leads

- Experience with business development and European tenders (making business cases, forecasts)
- Affinity with technology
- Experience with working in an international sales environment dealing with different cultures
- Excellent ability to manage time and priorities
- UK resident, preferably living in the area of South Yorkshire
- Full, clean driving license
