Business Development Manager (BDM) – Train Presentations
Location: England based – can be flexible e.g London, Birmingham, Derby or Manchester, would suit candidates in the North, South or Midlands regions.
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum (Dependant on experience) + Attractive Commission & Performance Bonuses. OTE £50 – 60K

Independent transport watchdog National Rail Passenger Survey (NRPS) consistently lists ‘Cleanliness inside trains’ as the second biggest impactor of passengers’ overall satisfaction.
With the vast majority of UK TOC’s (train operating companies) introducing new rolling stock or undertaking full refurbishment programs, emphasis on protecting these assets through better presentation solutions has never been so important.

Over the last 18 months Paragon have developed industry first solutions that address key fundamental presentation problems. We are now ready to take these solutions to the wider market and aim to establish a small but dynamic team of creative, driven and hardworking individuals to do this.
The position is field based and will require occasional night shift work along with travel throughout the UK. The role requires the ability to work alone under minimal supervision however, regular teleconferences, skype calls, and meetings with HQ will take place.
The role involves promotion and implementation of Paragon’s cleaning systems, with particular focus on their industry first mobile application (APPs) products.
Key Characteristics:
• Candidates must have experience and understanding of working in, or supplying to the UK rail, transport or contract services sector
• An appreciation of the value of technology. An ability to communicate such values is essential (technical knowledge is not essential)
• Ability to analyse problems and clearly articulate creative solutions
• Passionate about developing and promoting unique products
• Comfortable working with customers at every level, from cleaning operatives to fleet directors
• Experience of cleaning in a rail environment is preferable, however not essential
• Health and safety background is beneficial
• Ability to meet project deadlines
• Impeccable presentation skills
• Driven
• Self-starter
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
