NPR Buyer (Services) contract 6 months plus based in Derby, £neg to start asap
Working with one of the region's largest employers who are now embarking on the busiest and most successful periods in their long history. You will help deliver some of the most technically advanced vehicles of their type, all designed developed and manufactured in Derby.
Roles and responsibilities of the Procurement Business Partner
You will be a key point of contact locally for facilities, telecoms and complimentary workforce.
* Budget deep-dive - to understand the detail in each stakeholder's budgets for at least 90% of the spend
* Understand the timescales and deadlines for each project
* Liaison between the stakeholders and the RCP teams
* Understand the global and regional commodity strategies and communicate these to the stakeholders
* Understand the global and regional commodity strategies and what part the PBP plays in supporting these strategies
* Communicate to the stakeholders what is the roles and responsibilities of the PBP
* Communicate to the stakeholders what is the roles and responsibilities of the RCP's
* Communicate to the stakeholders what is the IGS transformation plan - why it was required and how it is progressing
* Remind the stakeholders of Company communications regarding spend regulations, cash containment rules, eBuy rules and timelines
* Deliver to the RCP teams the budgets, timelines and specifications for all >$50K projects
* Support the RCP teams by sharing local knowledge on supply base, site requirements and the like
* Commit to the 'communication plan' with the stakeholders (basically a timetable of formal and regular meetings with key stakeholders/customers)
* Be responsible for the commercial and contractual performance of IGS (NPR) contracts at a site level
Ideally MCIPs or working towads and have worked within manufacturing / engineering environment for none production related / services procurement.
