BIM Technician Water - Contract in Blackburn, Lancashire, United Kingdom, Blackburn, United Kingdom
We are working with on of the UK leading engineering consultancies whom are looking to support their team by recruiting a BIM Technician on contract basis within their water division being based in the North West specifically Blackburn being an expert within of Revit Structure or/and Civil 3D.
Within the position you will work as part of a team that will uses their technical expertise to support United Utilities in delivering a range of infrastructure and treatment projects in the region producing 3D models in collaboration with other staff and external partners, including "preliminary", "construction" and "as built" drawings. You will also produce outputs from these models for various uses by other disciplines (eg: structural and hydraulic analysis, setting out on site, stakeholder engagement).
You will be exposed to a range of project utilizing BIM which can include, but not limited too flood risk alleviation, sewer rehabilitation, and water/wastewater treatment works in which you will be involved in the full design lifecycle of each project.
Job Requirements
- Previous water/wastewater industry experience would be advantageous, but not essential
- Strong experience within BIM
- Expert knowledge of Revit Structure or Civil 3D
- An appreciation of civil engineering design and construction, experience in schematics would be beneficial
