Buried Services CAD Co-ordinator in Birmingham, West Midlands, United Kingdom
Randstad CPE are recruiting for a Buried Services CAD Co-ordinator to join an established team delivering enabling work packages on HS2 associated works for one of the Main JV Contractors.
Description of Activities to be undertaken
- The person carrying out this role must have good communication skills, be able to prioritise workload and be able to work to tight deadlines with minimum supervision. Experience implementing the project specific standards set by the BIM Project Manager and support on the implementation of the BIM Execution Plan.
- Have good knowledge and use of ProjectWise V8i to assist in the administration and management of a CDE system
- User of AutoDesk products including AutoCAD 2012 or higher.
- Good Knowledge and usage of Bentley ProjectWise V8i
- Have understanding of BIM (Building Information Modelling) and its processes, including standards BS1192-2007 and PAS <phone number removed> .
- Identify clashes and spatial issues within 3D model environments.
- Facilitate delivery of federated 3D model, hosted and linked BIM data.
- Support the BIM Manager to Set up and maintain Common Data Environment - ProjectWise for a project
- Ensure that data exchange protocols are adhered to by the project team and liaise with design team manager on compliance
Minimum Qualifications Needed for Role
- Level 2 (NVQ) Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations
- Level 2/3 (NVQ) Diploma in Engineering
- Level 3 Certificate in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing / engineering.
- Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Construction Design and Drafting
- HNC/HND Engineering
