Role: CAD Technician - MicroStation

Salary: £20,000-£30,000 (Negotiable)

I am looking to place a CAD Technician with experience of Bentley MicroStation in a multidisciplinary engineering consultancys Bristol office. The firm has multiple offices in the UK and has recently opened a new one in the South-West. They are looking to expand their team of technicians to meet the increasing workload. The firm operates within various sectors, including Bridges, Rail, Highways, Specialist Structures, Temporary Works and Geotechnical Services and is a previous recipient of a National Railway Heritage Award and other accolades.

The firm already has a number of technicians across its offices and you would be working in collaboration with them to deliver high quality models across the range of disciplines outlined above. The firm has a high workload and someone looking to take on a range of challenges in a fast-paced environment would be well-suited to this role, or someone looking to access a broad range of projects within infrastructure design.

All employees are given the chance to influence projects by interacting with teams from other disciplines, attending client meetings as well as operating on-site when suitable.

Job Requirements:

• Experience of Bentley MicroStation
• Experience of some of the following: Bridges, Rail, Highways, Building Structures, Temporary Works
• Ability to operate collaboratively with other technicians and engineers
• Desire to improve skills and develop technical skills via CPD
