Our client is a leading construction and infrastructure company with UK wide coverage. We are looking for a CAD Technician for a permanent position in Glasgow. The client is working on some of the major infrastructure projects in the UK in regards to residential, commercial and road schemes.

Your position will be a part of their design team and you will be responsible for designing schemes from conception to the final construction drawings. The work is mostly on behalf of local authority clients in the UK.

In order to be considered for this CAD Technician role you will be a graduate with some experience within the industry. You will have experience and demonstrable knowledge and use of 3D CAD. Experience of preparing feasibility studies, taking preliminary drawings to final stage concept designs. You will also be able to work as part of a technical team and have good communication skills, as you will need to be able to communicate customer designs into drawings.

This is a permanent position that is based in the Glasgow. Salary for this position is between £28,000 and £32,000 and will be dependent on experience and suitability for this role. On top of this is an excellent benefits package that includes pension scheme, life assurance, holiday pay, other benefits and the ability to increase coverage with salary sacrifice.
