CAD Technician- Water in Peterborough, United Kingdom

A fantastic opportunity has become available to work with a leading engineering contractor, based in either their Peterborough or Norfolk office, within their Water and Utilities sector. This role shall involve leading the CAD requirements on the Heigham project, as part of the Anglian Water @one Alliance, designing and building more than 800 schemes worth approximately £1.2 billion up to March 2020.

The role will involve designing for the AMP6 initiative, ad participating in the development of the product catalogue, as well as supporting in the improvement of the CAD system, working with the CAD manager to develop improvement ideas.

As the CAD Technician you shall have the following experience/ qualifications:

  • Understanding of the @One Alliance BIM initiative and how the implementation of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) contributes to a product based approach to project delivery


  • Water/ pipework engineering experience, alignment and longsection experience (preferred)


  • Previous CAD technician experience
