Comms Technician
Position: Comms Technician, Rail
Location: London
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Employee Benefits

Our client are doing the installation, testing and commissioning on a high profile rail project in London and are looking for a budding Comms Technician to join their team.
The successful person will either be from a Comms installer background with 3months - 2 years experience OR be a degree qualified Engineer who is looking to pursue a career in the Comms industry.
This is a permanent opportunity, perfect for someone who is keen on career progression and personal development.
Duties include:
- Shadowing a Comms Supervisor
- Assisting in carrying out site surveys
- Helping to provide technical guidance to colleagues and other teams
- finding creative solutions to the challenges faced in designs and processes
- testing theoretical designs
- liaising with internal and external customers
- working to tight timescales as part of a high-performing team
- arranging process meetings
- rewriting or modifying processes to ensure all aspects of the service run smoothly and to schedule.
To do this role you must have:
- Have either 3months - 2 years experience as a Comms Installer OR have a Degree in Engineering or HND in relevant subject (Not Essential)
- Comms experience on a Rail Project would be advantageous
- Technical ability and knowledge with CCTV / PA / IP systems
- PTS / CSCS (Not Essential)
