The Company

Our client is a World-Famous specialist in the modification, overhaul and servicing of Rolling Stock and look after a variety of well-known clients throughout the country. Employing well over 150 people in the UK they are winning work like there’s no tomorrow and have contracts to carry out long term servicing and exam work as well as a whole host of mods and overhauls. The time has come to welcome some additional, experienced personnel to this traditional company to enable them to fulfil their contracts.

Your Role

As an Exam Technician you will be responsible for ensuring that the Rolling Stock is in full working order and safe for passenger use according to the Vehicle Maintenance Instructions and released into service in the best possible condition. You will get involved with light and safety critical maintenance, as well as underframe mechanical checks ensuring that every aspect of the fleet is safe and ready to return to the client. Success in this role will mean you will be considered for all future projects at the Bristol Depot (and there will be lots!!)

You

As the next Exam Technician you will most likely be a seasoned Rolling Stock professional who has worked on relatively old diesel fleets and will hold a minimum of a full apprenticeship or NVQ / C&G Level 3. You will enjoy working in a traditional depot environment and be looking for a relatively long-term engagement.

Your Reward

As the latest addition to this expanding organisation you will receive an hourly rate of £22 and will be given the opportunity to demonstrate your mechanical skills in this thriving sector.
