Mane are recruiting for 2 Field Service Technicians to work in Oxfordshire & Bristol. As a field service engineer/technician you will be reporting to the Depot Manager. Your duties will be to maintain, service, repair and modify material handling equipment consisting of telescopic, straight mast fork lift trucks, and ancillary equipment whilst on customer sites, as directed by management, ensuring the high standard as set by the Company are met consistently.
Other duties -
Equipment Maintenance
? Maintenance, service, repair and modification of equipment at customer sites (Telescopic and straight mast forklift trucks and ancillary equipment)
? Diagnose faults accurately and timely and identify correct solutions to rectify
? Ensures product quality
? Carry out vehicle checks visually
? Van stock profile maintained
? Maintenance of own vehicle
o Carry out vehicle checks every morning
o Ensure vehicle is clean and tidy
o Notify manager of any defects
? Call outs to customers following a service or repair
? Customer feedback / satisfaction surveys
? Number of 1st time fix reports
? Return visits minimised
? Completion of service reports & logs
? 3 day breakdown report - volume of vehicle issues following service or repair
? Accuracy of internal documents
? Visual checks carried out
? Complete defect sheet
Academic qualifications:
? Basic numeracy & literacy
Knowledge/background:
Essential
? A mechanical or engineering background
? Knowledge of plant equipment
? Valid driving licence
? A recognised mechanical qualification in mechanical plant or agricultural engineering
