THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’re the ideal Maintenance Technician if you are an Avionics, Electrical or Electronics Technician within the military. Naturally you’ll enjoy fault-finding and problem-solving and be skilled in the maintenance of electrical or electronic systems. No doubt you’re a proactive and effective team member who takes pride in producing quality work and be motivated by working with like-minded people.

THE ROLE

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be working shifts in a close-knit team to conduct fault-finding, maintenance and repairs on a range of electrical and electronic systems on-board passenger trains. Your aim will be to work together to meet performance and availability targets enabling the trains to go into service as scheduled.

THE REQUIREMENTS

Maintenance Technicians need a minimum of on NVQ Level 3 in a related engineering discipline. You will need to be comfortable working shifts and be able to pass a medical including hearing, eyesight, drugs and alcohol testing.

THE PACKAGE

You will receive a generous salary between £38,000 and £45,000 depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition you will have free train travel across a large network and receive a great pension scheme.
