What Can You Bring to This Maintenance Technician Job?

• Your experience in fault-finding, maintaining and repairing electrical systems on heavy plant or vehicles
• A positive mind-set and real desire to learn

What Will You Be Doing as Their Maintenance Technician?

A typical shift in this important role will see you fault-find, maintain and repair electrical, electronic and pneumatic systems on-board fleets of passenger trains. You’ll follow maintenance instructions and update records whilst working closely with your team and senior technicians to resolve faults. They’ll be some heavy lifting and mechanical work but all this enables you to understand the systems that make up modern rolling stock. You’ll be working in a large, busy depot which has plenty of parking but if you prefer the train then the station is directly opposite. The people that work here are great and you’ll be starting your new career with a group of like-minded technicians who are all starting their journeys to become skilled rolling stock engineers.
