Your new career will start with them as a Senior Rolling Stock Technician where you will be able to demonstrate your abilities and potential at one of their busy depot in Brighton where in depth fault-finding and complex problem solving facilitate improvement to the performance and availability of the fleets.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You're the ideal Senior Rolling Stock Technician if you have experience with Rolling Stock fault-finding and analysis with a solid background of working on a range of rolling stock systems such as GSM-R, CCTV, Wi-Fi, driver monitoring, doors and HVAC.

A strong focus on safety and continuous improvement will be demonstrated in your knowledge of best practice processes and reliability improvement methodologies.

THE ROLE

As a Senior Rolling Stock Technician, you will be providing advanced technical support to Junior Technicians as well as having regular meetings with the Performance and Reliability Engineers.

You'll work closely with the Production and Engineering Services management teams to report findings and provide solutions. You'll lead by example with your commitment to adhering to safety and quality standards and take a proactive approach to coaching maintenance teams.

This is the ideal role for an ambitious individual who enjoys complex problem solving and collaborative working to achieve results.

THE REQUIREMENTS

For the role of Senior Rolling Stock Technician, you will have 2+ years' experience within Rolling Stock maintenance and you will need to have a full apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline. You'll need to be safety critical certified and be able to pass a Network Rail standard medical to obtain your PTS.

THE PACKAGE
