Mane are recruiting for a Technician to work on a 4 month contract in Hornsey, North London.
As a Technician you will fully assist the Plant and Facilities Engineer undertaking maintenance and inspection as required.
Carry out repair of depot plant equipment in accordance with procedures.
Complete documentation to record work carried out.
Conduct weekly walk round of the site to identify any facility asset deterioration and report / repair as applicable.
Improve facility appearance where possible.
This role profile may vary from time to time in accordance with changes to business needs. Your annual objective setting with your line manager will outline any additional responsibilities to meet business requirements or individual development needs
for the forthcoming financial year.
Qualifications, Experience & Technical Know-How
Essential:
Practical experience in a mechanical and/or electrical environment
Plant & Facilities Engineering
Relevant City & Guilds or BTEC National qualification or equivalent in a mechanical/electrical
engineering discipline
Experience in fault-finding
Health & Safety knowledge - understanding of the relevant legislation
Preferred:
Plant and facilities experience
Basic Health & Safety awareness
Ability to understand and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams is necessary
IOSH working safely
