A Civil Construction &Interface Manager is required to work on one of the most prestigious railway projects in Israel, consisting of a Joint venture party of major international multidisciplinary contractors.


This Civil Construction & Interface Manager will manage, co-ordinate, deliver and control of the activities relating to the interface with other contractors (Signalling & control, Coms & control, Civils, Track).

The Civil construction & interface manager shall act as the central point of contact. Other contractors to ensure interface issues are communicated to the relevant interfacing parties.
The Civil construction & interface manager shall liaise and co-operate with Other contractors to make sure information or data are provided by all JV partners and discipline Leaders and Others reciprocally in a coordinated and timely manner.
The Civil construction & interface manager shall ensure that work is carried out in close collaboration all designers, organising frequent interface reviews/meetings.
The Civil construction & interface manager shall coordinate works to ensure that the design, installation, testing and commissioning activities are fully integrated and compatible other contractors design, installation, testing and commissioning works.

Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of are listed under:
* To implement the interface management process to manage interfaces through
- identification for each interface of an interface leader and interface contributors
- Liaising with all discipline leaders in order to assure the alignment and consistency of technical designs.
- Organising and coordinating regular technical interface meetings between parties to reach mutual agreement.
- Facilitating the traceability of agreements and changes, if any.
- Organising regular Interface Progress Meetings to bring the project a vision of interface resolution status as well as identification of concerns and highlights
- participation in the design reviews
- the reviewing of design documents or data produced by others
- the production and updates of Interface Specifications documentation where the Contractor is designated as the "owner" of the interface
- the review and acceptance of Interface Specifications documents produced by others.
- the production and maintenance of Detailed Interface Requirements documentation where the Contractor is designated as the "owner" of the interface
- the review and acceptance of Detailed Interface Requirements documents produced by others
- Coordinating the changes that affect one of interfacing parties
- the updates of Interface Requirements Documentation identified during detailed design phase in case of changes appearing during the installation or the testing and commissioning phase.
- the review and acceptance of Detailed Interface Requirements documents produced by others in case of changes appearing during the installation or the testing and commissioning phase.
* To warn project manager as soon as any matter related to interfaces could affect the works or works of Others (Risk Identification, Mitigation Strategy and Monitoring)
* To provide Civil construction &Interface Manager the day-to-day interface activities to ensure the project remains efficient, effective, and on schedule by
- monitoring and reporting the timely and successful resolution of all critical interfaces issues and risks.
- Reporting the status of interface/integration issues and their status via progress reports on a weekly basis.
- To establish a process for interface partners to report interface activities participates in review of critical project deliverables


Qualifications:
Candidate requirements
* Interface Management experience in a Railway environment.
* Engineering degree in any discipline.
* Exceptional organization skills with the ability to communicate with numerous stakeholders.
* The ability to provide solutions on complex technical issues.
