Long term contractual position offering competitive per day rates

A renowned Civils related Main Contractor who is heavily engaged in one of the UK s most prestigious Rail development programmes is in need of an experienced Rail Civil bias Civils Works Design Engineer help deliver credible civil engineering designs and manage varied design and installation sub-contractors. This is for the series of pending deliveries and the preparation of further works, all to be based in London.

Reporting to and working closely with the Civils Works Design Manager, you the appointed Civils Works Design Engineer will possess the following;

• Past working experience of creating credible design for varied Rail Civil works looking at all aspects form specifications, drawings, sketches, calculations and reports.
• Strong working appreciation of Temporary Works and Temporary works design / co-ordination as well as CAD Software and System Engineering processes
• Proven experience of effectively managing and supporting both internal and external design teams and coordinating with the installation teams
• Experienced and competent, interfacing and liaising with Clients and Key-Stakeholders
• Will be Degree qualified within a Civil design remit or equivalent
• Be a driver of delivery, focused on meeting timelines and meeting expected quality and specification constraints

This contractual position is to start ASAP and our client is looking to offer competitive per day rates for the right knowledge, experience and abilities.
