Purpose of the role

You will be a Civils CRE with experience of large scale railway construction projects.

This role is ONLY for a Civils CRE with VERY STRONG skills who needs no training and guidance and can manage and check the work done by a team on Railway Civils Construction projects.

You will be a degree educated Civil Engineer with an existing CRE accreditation.

As a Civils CRE you are responsible for overseeing and checking the construction works and all associated processes within the section.

Multiple Civils construction project experience is required. Line side civils, Embankment Stabling, small infrastructure, Troughing, UTX's etc.

This is for a long term project. The initial contract will be for 12 months but expected to last a lot longer.

GENERIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety requirements.
• To ensure that company procedures and statutory obligations are fully addressed.
• To ensure that all work is executed in accordance with the latest information.
• Resolution of site technical issues
• Site Surveys
• Attend and represent works at whiteboard meetings
• Ensure all site work is delivered in line with Health and Safety Legislation, company, project and rail standards.

A daily rate of £400-500 per day is available for the right Civils CRE.
