Civils Manager
Location: Kent
Salary - Dependent upon experience plus car/car allowance
PURPOSE
Area management of civil's work activity , completion of workgroup tasks achieving operational, commercial and HSE performance in line with KPI's
KEY DUTIES
- Overall management of end to end process for operational aspects of civils workgroup
- Manage, measure and review performance of civil's reactive activities.
- Manage, measure and coach performance of operational team, supervisors, admin staff and operational resource.
- Review and act on weekly MI, monitoring to ensure workgroup performance
- Site safety tours ensuring HSE and quality compliance, helping to prevent incidents accidents and near misses.
- Provision of daily/weekly work schedules, detailing efficient planning of activities and task allocation
- Review of tasks within workgroup to ensure correct and where required challenge with client.
- Monitoring of costs to assist with commercial performance of workgroup and overall contract.
- Have sound technical knowledge /experience of industry techniques and best practice, including vison of industry innovations that may be utilized.
- Resource planning and management to ensure resource availability 24/7 365 and achievement of end to end process including planning site works and admin completion.
- Professionally represent CBUL with client, customers and service providers.
- Participate in management meetings including presenting performance of work group.

- Civils/Utilities supervisor/management experience
- Strong process and procedure management skills
- Strong people management skills
- A strong communicator across all levels
- IOSH Managing safely or Equivalent
- Microsoft Word/Excel and work management systems
- Driving License
