Role: Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Birmingham or Nottingham

I am looking to place a Senior-level Civil Infrastructure Design Engineer with a multidisciplinary design consultancys Birmingham or Nottingham office. The consultancy has a mix of private clients and public-sector work from local government bodies such as the Environment Agency and Highways England, covering residential developments, education projects, some hospitals as well as various industrial/commercial developments in the Midlands. The two offices work closely in terms of project sharing and the firm are open to candidates at either location.

This particular vacancy has come about due to an increased workload and several successful bids. As such, the Birmingham/Nottingham Water and Infrastructure teams need long-term commitment from capable Senior Civil Infrastructure Design Engineers. The role will feature a large amount of work at the pre-planning and feasibility stages, with competency in Civil3D and MicroDrainage highly desirable for this particular role, as is previous experience of SuDS design and previous completion of Flood Risk Assessments. Previous experience of private development work and public-sector work would be an advantage for any applicant. Furthermore, some experience with project planning tools such as Primavera or MS Project would be useful for the role, but are not essential requirements.

Candidates should be working towards Chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers or recently Chartered. • Civil Engineering Degree
• Civil 3D / WinDes / MicroDrainage, SuDS Design, FRAs (essential)
• MS Project / Primavera experience (desirable)
• Private Development Experience
• Local Authority Experience
• Pre-planning / Feasibility Study experience
