An established civil engineering organisation who is heavily engaged on a variety of Rail Civils and structures engineering delivery. Our client currently have an opportunity for an experienced PTS Site Engineer / Project Engineer with strong working experience working within the delivery aspects of construction, testing, commissioning, and ultimate project handover, to be based in London.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with other sector counterparts Construction Managers, Field Engineers and Handover Managers, you the Site Engineer will be responsible for managing works through the construction, testing, commissioning, and handover stages and accountable for assuring the technical aspects on-site delivery through effective interface on-site and coordination across varied contracts.
You will be maintaining contract performance against project milestones, key performance indicators within the programme including budget.
As the Site Engineer, you will need to attend progress meetings and assist in the production of progress reports together with ensuring contractor compliance in line with safe methods of railway working.

Requirements for this Site Engineer position are listed below:

• Experience working within a similar role either as a Field Project Engineer, Senior / Lead Engineer, Project Engineer or Project Site / Section Engineer
• Proven experience work working on UK multi-million £ UK Rail development programmes, coupled with proven working knowledge and appreciation of the GRIP processes
• Will possess a relevant engineering qualification within Civils and or mechanical or equivalent
• A strong working appreciation of design and the ability to overcome technical deign issues
• Strong working experience and knowledge of project controls and change management
• Proven experience of managing and monitoring subcontractor s subcontract documentation
• You will be delivery and goal focused a strategic thinker, with effective communications skills
• Will be able to work competently using own initiative or working within a team
