Track & Civil Maintenance Manager reporting to the Infrastructure Management & Maintenance Director

Native English, Dutch or German Speakers

Job Purpose

• ·Direct and manage all maintenance activities for Passenger Trains

Experience Required

• ·Minimum Master of science with Infrastructure speciality
• ·10 years relevant work experience

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare, apply and monitor track and civil maintenance plan and ensure its implementation
• Track and civil maintenance improvement in technical economical, reliability and safety aspect
• Evaluate maintenance staff Level 4 and 5
• Mentoring staff and improve rail culture
• Benchmarking NSR maintenance to the world best practice
• Implement maintenance innovations

Job Context

• ·The Track and Civil Maintenance has several challenges that would require the manager to be highly effective, well-organized and competent.
• ·Providing effective financial management to ensure financial expenditure is consistent with allocated budgets.
• ·Ensures that safety/ operational regulations and requirements are met.
• ·Reporting to Infrastructure Director and implement track and civil maintenance plans at NSR Projects.
• ·Monitor all department activities e.g. execution, planning, Administration, MoW, Equipment, training, certification etc. to ensure implementation.

Communications

• Internal:

• Rolling Stock Maintenance, Operation, HR and Recruitment, etc

• External:

• Efficient communication channel with Suppliers, Maintenance Companies, Consultants & extra authorities
• Frameworks, Boundaries & Decision Making Authority
• Direct management of department human recourses, decision making of maintenance priorities and strategy implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Master of science with Infrastructure speciality

EXPERIENCE:

• At least 10 years in relevant sector

COMPETENCIES:

• Decision making in complicated infrastructure maintenance environment, strong communications and management skills, lateral thinker and tenacious.
