TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project in London. They are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team on a temp to perm basis.

The objective is to carry out fault finding, diagnostics and servicing on commercial boilers and water heaters across underground stations. This is a maintenance-based role where you will carry out both PPM and Reactive maintenance, whilst also reporting and faults or issues you find with the Commercial equipment.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Undertake planned maintenance activities and asset servicing ensuring all checks and tasks are completed satisfactorily.
• Carry out repairs and rectification of faults and minor works as required to return assets to service.
• Carry out installations, asset replacements and minor works as required.
• Communicate works progress to the Piped Services Supervisor regularly and maintain contract to ensure all works are completed within the desired timeframe.
• Review all service and report documentation for accuracy.
• Participate in the on-call process,
• Carry out allocated routine PPMs and any other reactive works or tasks as directed
• Provide technical support and assistance to supervisory staff and other team members
• To assist and support the management team in customer focused duties and inspections.
• Be client and public facing maintaining good conduct and code of practice at all times
• Maintain site files to ensure all policies, risk assessments, method statements and COSHH assessments are available to view, ensuring all site briefing records, plant and equipment records are maintained and available.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 PM

Pay: Up to £51,000 dependent on experience. Van and fuel card provided.

Role specific training will be provided and paid for.
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years experience within a similar role
• London underground experience is desirable
• Rail experience is advantageous
• Full UK Driver's Licence
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 and/or 3: Commercial and Domestic Gas
• Knowledge of Hot Water Systems, L8/Legionella, and Water Regs
