Location- Barnet, North London
Capita RE currently has an opportunity for a commercial manager to join their team in London.
The successful candidate will need to have extensive experience in commercial management reporting services over the whole project lifecycle from project inception through design, construction and project close out.
Accountabilities
- Implement effective pre and post Contract commercial management services aimed at maintaining effective budgetary control throughout the duration of the programme;
- Undertake all relevant Commercial Management duties in conformance with the policies and Procedures and in a timely and effective manner;
- To produce all relevant commercial data including Cost of Work Done (COWD) for the monthly reporting cycle and to provide cost data in support of annual budget reviews;
- Provide periodic financial reports including Cost Forecasting, Anticipated Final Costs, Cost of Work Done, Gross Billing and current Contract Value;
- Assist with securing Project Financing and Client Funding;
- Develop project cost plan and cash flow forecast, including periodic updates against progress against project packages’ budget; including variance to forecast;

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- Demonstrable experience in Commercial Management on infrastructure projects;
- Specific knowledge and experience of pre and post contract commercial services including those related to reporting;
- An understanding of the change, risk and contingency management process;
- Specific understanding of Construction contract terms and conditions, preferable NEC and ICC;
- To manage the Cost and change management process within the delegated authorities granted at each stage of the project;
Facts and Figures
- Carry out similar services for a mixed portfolio of contracts with a combined value of circa £50m+;
