COMMERCIAL CONTRACTS MANAGER - £750/DAY
TAMPERE, FINLAND

THE COMPANY

The Client I’m representing is a joint venture between the two substantial and successful transport companies in their own right. They have extensive experience running complex and challenging rail operations, managing significant change programmes, and has introduced more new train fleets in the UK than any other operator. They currently run two major rail franchises and are one of the UK’s busiest rail operators, currently providing c.25% of all passenger journeys.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is for an established Commercial Manager to lead the bid team of a major Tramway project based out of Tampere in Finland. Initially, you will be required to work out of Finland for a preliminary ten-day period and thereafter for a three-month period. Should your bid team be successful in winning the work, you will then be needed for two years to complete the project. This is a great opportunity to see a major overseas project from start to finish.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Your responsibilities will be to; Present your indicative way of how you see the costs and the business being delivered, work collaboratively with the client to jointly develop the contract, hold commercial discussions with the client, re-specify the operating model and to engage with OEM and Civils contractor. If you have experience in this, then you could be the Commercial Manager I’m looking for. On top of this, you will ideally have experience working in the Rail sector and working overseas. Amongst all of this you will be forth coming with your attitude towards work and be able to carry out all your work efficiently and to the highest standard. REMUNERATION

The successful Commercial Manager will be heavily rewarded for their hard work and flexibility. With a competitive day rate of £750, based on experience.
