About the Role

A Commercial Manager is required to join the team in Glasgow to provide commercial leadership to an established portfolio of power services. Reporting to the Head of Commercial (Power & Telecoms) and the Account Lead for a portfolio of £40m worth of services. The portfolio has a variety of work disciplines ranging from maintenance activities to capital projects. The client base is varied. This is an opportunity for a motivated commercial lead to impact on the way the portfolio undertakes its business and grows. The role is accountable for the management of 10+ commercial resource.

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree qualification (RICS accredited or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
• 10+ years’ experience (applicants with relevant experience that may not be 10 years will be considered)
• Sound knowledge of NEC3 contracts.
• Awareness of industry issues.
• Good health, safety and environmental awareness.
• Experience delivering commercial solutions on bids in excess of £100m (desirable)
• Good track record in winning and delivering work

Remuneration

The successful candidate will be heavily rewarded for their hard work and flexibility. With a competitive day rate of up to £400 (negotiable), based on experience/level.
