Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Specialists are looking to recruit a Commercial Training Manager who has the ability to develop and coordinate a programme of short training programmes that meet the needs of business customers.

Our client is a prestigious FE college that has been established to train the next generation of rail professionals. The college offer training courses that covers the whole rail industry, from design and construction all the way to maintenance and operations.

The Role
- To be responsible for the development and delivery of a portfolio of commercial (CPD) education programmes that supports the development of the UK's Rail industry.
- To work with the Head of Marketing and Communications to ensure a clear and effective marketing and promotion strategy is employed across all appropriate channels.
- To develop and maintain a catalogue of provision of the College's commercial training offer.
- To be responsible for the achievement of income targets.
- To market test and cost courses to ensure cost effectiveness and competitiveness.
- To research the further education and private training markets for commercial (CPD) provision, including research of existing provision available to employers in order to identify opportunities in the market.
- To support the development of quality standards and assessment approaches for CPD programmes
- To work with awarding bodies, universities partners, industry organisations and employers
- To work with the Business Development Manager to ensure that there is an effective sales process that contributes to the achievement of agreed targets.
- To work with the wider curriculum team to ensure that there is an efficient and comprehensive education offer across the College.
- To participate in the design and delivery of other education programmes where applicable.
- You are liable to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably be required of you commensurate with your grade at your initial place of work or at any other college site.
