I am looking for an interim corporate commercial executive to work on a 6 month contract based in London.

Job Title: Interim Corporate Commercial Executive

• COMPETITIVE Daily Pay Rate: £600 Umbrella OR £477.76 PAYE (Based on experience)
• IR35 STATUS:In-scope of IR35
• Location: London
• BPSS (DS) - Baseline Personnel Security Standard (with a Disclosure Scotland / DBS)

As an Interim Corporate Commercial Executive for the East West Rail scheme you will have experience in commercial management from within the UK public sector.

Preferably you will also have some experience in relation to supporting a new organisation / team, although this is not essential.

Your skills and experience will include:

• Strong public sector procurement sourcing/tendering skills, including knowledge and experience of using CCS Frameworks, etc
• Strong financial and commercial acumen
• Knowledge of contract development and management
• Experience with procurement processes including relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. OJEU and Public Contracts Regulations)
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, principles and best practice and supplier or third party management software
• Excellent communication, relationship management and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong people skills and an ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Strong ability to engage and manage stakeholders
• Experience in driving innovation and change in an established industry or organisation
• UK rail industry knowledge and experience is an advantage

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree ideally in commerce, finance and/or law or equivalent demonstrable experience
• MCIPS – desirable
