Our client, a key entity of a major rail organisation, is keen to bring in a Senior Commercial Manager for it's programme of rail construction projects throughout the South East. Based in Central London, you will be tasked with providing a procurement and commercial management service for this portfolio of projects approximately value of £25 million, plus making preparations for next investment period, currently estimated at £90 million.
Works primarily cover signalling and M&E works, and tasks will include supplier management, COWD and other financial reporting, estimation and maintenance of rate card.
Successful candidate will have significant experience of commercial management in the rail construction sector, with knowledge of procurement and estimation techniques. Knowledge of rail contracts and supply chain management are a key requirement for this role.
This role is for a publicly funded organisation, so has been determined inside IR35.
