Crewit Resourcing are the Recruitment Partner for BCM Construction and we are currently recruiting for a Compliance Manager to join the HSQE team in Waterloo. We require someone with a good compliance/Quality background with experience in the construction industry, specificity Rail, utilities, civils and electrical works.
The role has the responsibility to manage and monitor our health, safety and quality standards, processes, communications to ensure that BCM remain compliant with our statuary requirements including BS EN ISO 9001:2015 and industry standards and requirements.
You will also lead our Document Control function and be pivotal in ensuring our projects follow the document control protocols.
You will also be a lead and support our ongoing strategy to a paperless environment and the digitalisation of our IMS.
You will also lead on the management of BCM’s operating platform (IMS) ensuring through regular audits, the system is functionally being utilised by all departments in BCM and fit for purpose. You will manage change, in line with operational or standard changes to the IMS. The role will also involve ensuring our projects and office teams adhere to the IMS and ensure audits both internally and externally are undertaken on a regular frequency to ensure this.
Type of Projects – construction, rail, civils, highways, electrification, TFL, Utilities etc
Qualifications:
Current and experienced Health Safety and Quality Compliance manager or similar
Good understanding of compliance when working in Construction. Desirably in TFL, LU, highways or NR projects.
ISO Internal auditor
Current PTS is desirable
Relevant qualification in Quality Management or demonstrable relevant experience of working in a similar role
Qualified to a minimum of lead auditor level in a relevant discipline
Significant track record of successful work
Experience:
Previous experience in working in a quality and compliance role including quality management requirements.
A good understanding of ISO 9001:2015, RISQS and other standards would be advantageous. Knowledge of UK construction industry, including railway, TFL, Nuclear or other utilities industries would be advantageous.
