Quality & Compliance Manager – Spider. The Fixed Fee Web Recruiters are pleased to be supporting a TES 2000 with the search for a Quality & Compliance Manager.

TES 2000 are a highly regarded contractor to the rail industry and undertake a range of services on Network Rail's infrastructure, including the delivery of track renewal projects.

They are looking for a Quality & Compliance Manager on a full-time basis. The key focus of this role is to provide support to the SHEQ team and the wider business team to ensure that we meet all legal obligations by developing, maintaining and continuously improving the businesses robust processes and document control functions.

Other key duties include:

• Provide effective management and control of the Business Management System
• Development, management and periodic review of our internal audit programme
• Management of Suppliers and detailed knowledge of Sentinel Scheme Rules
• Ensuring continual compliance to all Network Rail Standards
• Management of audit findings including corrective action and trend analysis.
• Management & communication of applicable changes in legislation.
• Interaction with internal and external stakeholders and be the “go to” person for any employees with any compliance issues or queries.
• Provide training, guidance and expertise to others in maintaining and improving standards of compliance across the business.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual progress and statistical reports on compliance issues as required
• Managing compliance projects as and when requested

Skills and attributes required:

You must have a full driving licence and the ability to travel when required, Rail industry experience is essential

• You will be required to maintain/improve accreditation of all company standards including:
o ISO 9001
o ISO 14001
o OHSAS 18001
o Achilles Link-up (RISQS)

o Constructionline
o Builders Profile

• You will need to be IT literate across all Microsoft applications, experience with Microsoft Dynamics desirable
• You will need to have a detailed understanding and experience of working in an environment where quality and consistency of documentation has been a business priority
• You should show appreciation of the necessary balance between practicality and risk that needs to be applied according to the range of situations encountered
• Have the ability to complete internal and external audits to a high standard including production and issue of Audit reports
• Able to communicate effectively at senior leadership level and influence others
• Effective in written communication where this is the required communication form
• Highly organised in record keeping, meetings, tracking actions
