Based in London, this role is full time, Monday to Friday and contracted until 17th June 2019.
Successful candidates will have experience in of Safety System of Work Planners and carrying out duties of a Responsible Manager; bridge construction and other renovations near the railway; monitoring of sites with the GRIP scheme, and reviewing risk assessments along with Protection Engineers. Likewise candidates will need evident experience of regulating inspections of contractor work and recording of the outcome and the control of remedial works required.
Ideally candidates will have relevant successful construction experience in the railway industry, with keen environmental and commercial awareness. Candidates would also have ability to manage a principal contractor and their subcontractors and possess CSCS/CITB and Nebosh certificate, with possibly Safety Management training or Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
