Alstom UK&I SS&I have an exciting opportunity to join our team based in the Paddington office, delivering signalling works on the railway infrastructure across West London. Alstom have secured projects to deliver signalling upgrades and implement European Train Control System (ETCS) on the Paddington to Reading (P2R) route and beyond to help improve reliability, increase capacity and pave the way for the construction of the HS2 Hub at Old Oak Common.
As the Team Organiser you will play a key role supporting the Project Director in the co-ordinating of tasks to allow the project team to deliver within budget, safely and within set timescales.
As a Contract Administrator we need someone who can:
- Provide administrative support to the Managers within your designated area of responsibility.
- Ensure the completed, signed and timely submission of time sheets for all members of staff within your areas of responsibility.
- Process requisitions, goods receipt notes and invoices on the SAP system.
- Organise hotel accommodation and travel facilities for team, whilst obtaining management approval for requests.
- Assist with the procurement of resources, materials & stationery.
- Provide assistance with arrangements for meetings, room bookings and facilitating the arrival of visitors to the site.
- Organise on-boarding process of new staff including inductions, access & IT.
The successful candidate must have the following skills, qualifications & experience:
- Extensive experience within an administrative environment.
- Computer literate, including a detailed knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organized and methodical.
