Are you an experienced Contract Manager with proven experience in negotiating, supporting and managing contracts effectively?

Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Experts are recruiting a Contract Manager from a Rail background to work with a recognised train operator in the heat of London.

The Opportunity

You will have the opportunity to be apart of an exciting 10-year maintenance project, where you will take ownership by effectively managing tenders through to full contract drafting and signature.

You will also be responsible for implementing SRM strategy, including regular contact performance review with all major suppliers, monitoring their performance against set KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement, coordinating stakeholder's feedback and ensuring their engagement in managing the supplier.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Ensure aa company safety requirements / expectations are met daily.
• Observe the safety requirements and policies that are within the business.
• Support the implementation of a category sourcing strategy and supplier base.
• Liaise with various stakeholders including, Finance, Legal, PMs through to production engineering & stores.
• Provide a lead role in the operational delivery and proactively monitoring of contracts and supplier performance.
• Managing performance to SLA's and against KPIs.
• Ensuring all other contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Taking ownership to understand and follow the company processes and policies.

The Candidate

It is imperative for an individual coming in to be a capable and natural communicator within a busy and sometimes challenging environment. You will have previous experience in managing tenders through to full contract drafting within the Rail sector.

• Working towards CIPS
