Alstom UK&I SS&I have an exciting opportunity to join our team based in the Paddington and/or Kensal offices, delivering signalling works on the railway infrastructure across West London. Alstom have secured projects to deliver signalling upgrades and implement European Train Control System (ETCS) on the Paddington to Reading (P2R) route and beyond to help improve reliability, increase capacity and pave the way for the construction of the HS2 Hub at Old Oak Common.
As the Contracts Administrator you will play a key role supporting the Project Manager and Engineering Team with the management of project documentation to the client, suppliers and internal departments.
As a Contracts Administrator we need someone who can:
- Ensure the effective control, registration, distribution, notification and filing of project documentation.
- Use and development of Alstom’s electronic documentation management system.
- Ensure all project documentation is managed and archived according to contractual and policy requirements.
- Ensure appropriate and accurate records are kept.
- Provide regular and accurate updates on document status to the project team.
- Maintain registers, correspondence and review notices.
- Input into project documentation management process and plans.
- Provide support to the project team on company documentation procedures and policies.
- Provide assistance and training to project staff using the document management system.
The successful candidate must have the following skills, qualifications & experience:
• Extensive experience within a project document management role.
• Detailed working knowledge of Cabinet, AEC EDMS, Acomis, Eb and HDMS
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly organized, methodical and able to work to strict deadlines.
