Office Administrator – Portsmouth
Ganymede are looking to recruit an Office Administrator to support our Portsmouth office. This vital role will be accountable for assisting the Resource Manager to ensure the smooth running of the office space, and providing clerical support to a team of Resource Coordinators supporting the organisation, and maintaining a high standard of work with a professional attitude. Knowledge of the rail industry is an advantage although not essential. This role would suit someone with previous admin experience in a recruitment company.
Key Skills and Activities for this role include: • Checking and processing timesheets and interaction with the central finance department. • Assisting with payroll queries. • Scanning and sending timesheets to payroll department. • Checking and approving orders on client portal. • Stock ordering, control and liaising with contractors with regards to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). • Answering the phone, reception duties, correspondence via email, incoming and outgoing post. • Photocopying and scanning and filing documents • Stationery stock control and ordering. • Attending meetings / training courses at the office locations as and when required.
Minimum requirements:- • 5 GCSE's or equivalent qualifications • Professional written and verbal communication skills • Driving License and use of own vehicle desirable • Ability to work independently and in a team • Must be enthusiastic and have a proven attitude with a strong work ethic • Good attention to detail
