A fantastic contracting opportunity has become available working with a client organisation as the Contracts Manager to join their team in Birmingham (or potentially London for the right candidate) working on new high speed rail projects.
As the Senior Contracts Manager you will be responsible for 2 reports, delivering contract management activities associated with key contracts in their Infrastructure Directorate. This is associated with non commercial activities primarily with professional service contracts in support of major infrastructure programmes and key activities required to link between business requirements and commercial contract requirements.
The ideal individual will have worked on large scale projects within Utilities, Highways, Nuclear or Infrastructure industries.

As the Senior Contracts Manager you will be responsible for 2 reports, delivering contract management activities associated with key contracts in their Infrastructure Directorate. This is associated with non commercial activities primarily with professional service contracts in support of major infrastructure programmes and key activities required to link between business requirements and commercial contract requirements.
The ideal individual will have worked on large scale projects within Utilities, Highways, Nuclear or Infrastructure industries.
The role will involve:
- Providing contract administration management across the Directorates portfolio, managing technical requirements associated with delivery including review of business needs, acceptance of contract schedule and budget availability
- The role works alongside the technical business leads, corporate contracts team and the supply chain, assuring and supporting the delivery of technical requirements and activities
Requirements:
- Experience of working a contract in a technical area of an infrastructure project and/or programme, with a preference for experience of high value NEC3 professional services contracts.
- Experience of planning, developing and implementing technical areas of work through an established contract.
- Experience of ensuring technical requirements are correctly articulated to suppliers and the tasks can commissioned ensuring value for money.
