Site Administrator in London, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom
Site Administrator required to be based on site in Hertfordshire to work across multiple high profile Civil Engineering projects to assist the site with day to day duties. You will be working for a top tier Rail/Civil Engineering contractor where they want to invest in the right person and help them develop their career in Construction!
You will be supporting the Administration Manager as well as the Operations Director of the company on a day to day basis.
Salary varies between £2-k-£24k depending on experience

Responsibilities:
- Acting as first point of contact on reception and answering incomming calls
- Monitor and interpret expenditure on site services ensuring bills are checked and paid on time.
- Manage site set up files and assist the Contracts Manager with any administration functions needed
- Monitoring the company's generic email accounts
- Manage the collection of CIS labour only new starter information
- Processing labour only subcontractors invoices which includes verification with HMRC and setting up accounts with our online invoices system
- Check the weekly plant sheet against the actual plant on site and ensure any anomalies are resolved through communication with the Cost Manager
- Monitor and interpret expenditure on site services ensuring bills are checked and paid on time.
- Administer the hourly and weekly paid payroll, timekeeping and labour allocation systems
- Follow goods received and plant hire routines as defined by the project accounting system, working to weekly and monthly costing systems.
- Approve invoices for payment or raise the necessary invoice queries
- Ensure all paperwork and posters are displayed on the site office wall and kept up to date
- Ensure all reported near misses are recorded following procedure, and submitted to the Office Manager each week
- Ensure all Safety and Environmental Statistics are recorded and sent to management monthly
Successful candidates must have:
- Previous experience working on site or in a project office
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word
- The ability to multitask
- Good attention to detail
