We are currently working with one of the UKs leading Engineering consultancies based in London looking to strengthen and expands it Geotechnical Engineering team by recruiting either an Associate or Team Leader.

As the Geotechnical Engineering Team Leader, you will be looking at ground movement analysis in which you will work with the structural engineers on a portfolio of major developments in London and nationally. You will work closely with your colleagues nationally to deliver integrated ground investigations, interpretative reports and geotechnical design advice for a wide range of projects including tall towers, deep basements, retaining walls, ground improvement and earthworks by using a collective national and local resource.

Within the position you will be responsible for Geotechnical Design Management of aspects of projects on behalf of the Geotechnical National Service Line to ensure projects are delivered competently, effectively, on budget and on time.

Job requirements

• Chartered Engineer
• Ability to use PLAXIS 2D and 3D, PDISP, XDISP, WALLOP and SETTLE 3D to teach and mentor others and undertake cat 3 checks on 3^rd party work.
• Have a sound understanding of geotechnical principles in relation to structural design of buildings
