ETCS L2 – Technical Expert (Brisbane)

We are currently looking for an experienced ETCS L2 technical matter expert who has experience leading engineering teams for a major metropolitan rail project based in Brisbane

You will take the lead role within the organization and be involved in the co-ordination of ETCS work within several major projects. The role would suit a person who has previous experience in coordinating / managing significant signalling projects or an experienced signalling electrician/engineer who would like to transition to a coordination role.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead, develop and implement effective, consistent, outcome- focused signalling system processes for signalling engineering delivery activities including design management, discipline integration, design reviews and testing and commissioning validation and Safety in Design.
• Lead and coordinate Signalling Engineering resources to service and support projects
• Collaborate and manage signalling system requirements for the program of works
• Identify and manage interfaces with key stakeholders from the business and with other projects.

The successful applicant will possess:

• Previous project delivery of ETCS L2 at a senior management level
• High level of skill in leading and managing a professional, client and business focussed engineering team providing strategic and technical advice, design and verification services, and delivery
• High level of skill in signalling technologies applicable to a large transport and logistics based organisation.
• Substantial level of skill in communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
