Deploy are currently looking to recruit railway telecoms Installers/team leaders for various projects based in both East and West London and surrounding areas, to be successful in this role you must have a strong railway telecoms engineering/Installation background in both SISS and Retail comms experience.

The Applicant must have the ability to analyse and understand test data results, so they can make recommendations on whether systems are safe to bring into operational use, and to verify that systems are operating to the agreed design criteria. The Applicant must have extensive knowledge of operating rules and regulations and current safety legislation, and must possess the capability and knowledge to undertake site inspections and witnessing of system testing and commissioning.

They should have extensive experience of providing professional and technical advice, guidance and support on telecommunications engineering issues within a project environment, experience of carrying out technical document review and analysis.

• Valid PTS
• NWR ICI
• Closed Circuit Television ( analogue & IP )
• PAVA SYSTEMS
• Help Point/Intercom Stystems
• LAN/WAN
• SCADA SYSTEMS
• Telephone Systems
• DOO systems
• Knowledge of Both Fibre & Copper jointing, installation and testing principles
• Knowledge of Copper Testing for Loop Measurements, Insulation Resistance and crosstalk,Phosometric Noise, Attenuation and conductor resistance measurements
• Experience in using EXFO, Agilent, Anritsu, Perkin Elmer and GN Nettest test equipment
• Be proficient in using ODTR’s and Fibre splicing/cleaving equipment
• Certified to CITY and Guilds 3666/3667 standard or IRSE licensed TMTH
• Full Clean Driving License
• Willing to travel when required
• Flexibility to work varied shifts if required
