Train Crew Resource Planner

Location: Crewe/Ferrybridge

A vacancy has arisen for a Train Crew Resource Planner role within the Train Planning Unit. This key role is a part of a small team responsible for all aspects of Train crew diagramming for UK Rail.

The successful applicant will be involved in the production of permanent Train Crew diagrams and also assist with short term Train Crew diagrams as required.

There will also be a requirement to attend meetings, some of which may involve overnight stays.

Essential experience and expertise:

• Train Planning systems – Voyager Plan
• Knowledge of train planning timescales & deadlines
• Ability to produce a plan that is both robust & economic
• Knowledge of the Timetable Planning Process, including Part D of the Network Code.

The successful applicant must be able to work to agreed timescales, work on own initiative as well as be a good team player.
