The Company
This OEM World Leader designs and manufactures Rail and Commercial Vehicle Systems, and their customers are house hold names! Currently working on the UK’s Largest Rolling Stock projects! Due to their fantastic training programmes and progressive nature they are now looking for a new Account Delivery Manager.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be experienced in B2B customer services, ideally from a manufacturing background. You’ll be a focused individual that’ll be hungry to service your customers to the best of your ability, be able to manage people and expectations. The Team are very sociable bunch, that like to have team nights out every few months, and carry out community work together also. They are looking for a team player, that also enjoys eating lots of cakes during the day.
About the Position
You’ll be managing customer orders to the value of £M’s via the ERP system including the accurate and timely processing of SAP ERP Customer Information, Purchase Orders, Delivery Schedules, Sales Orders, Quotes, Order Acknowledgments, Quality Notifications and maintenance of order books. You will also be required to go to customer locations to present updates on order processes.
The role is within a high-pressured environment, so you’ll need to be level headed and be able to take the rough with the smooth. You’ll also be an excellent communicator, and liaise with all departments (Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Quality and Business Streams and Process Improvement) internally to co-ordinate the service delivery to achieve KPIs, LTSA, SLAs, contract obligations, price lists agreements or service commitments. Due to the demanding nature of the role, my client is keen to ensure you are fully equipped to carry out your duties, this includes continued training, mentoring and development, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Relationship training courses.
The Requirements
- Service Delivery and/or Account Management of high value customer accounts across a range of services/products.
- Suited to an experienced, proactive, commercially aware management professional with the necessary vision, practicality, strength of character and powers of persuasion to set and achieve short/medium/long-term goals.
- Demonstrate appropriate levels of authority and maturity, and the emotional intelligence and imagination required to maintain the profile of the role across the company and drive to objectives
The Benefits
Salary up to £45,000 per annum, plus great company pension, Flexible benefits, 25 days holiday + BH, 37 hour week, flexible working hours.
