Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Experts are currently seeking to appoint a Customer Relationship Coordinator, to ensure smooth day to day client relationships are maintained and internal communication is effective in order to meet the customers' needs.
The Opportunity
Exciting opportunity for a customer services professional to gain diversity and challenge above and beyond that of a telephone based role. Supporting the bids team, providing technical administration support to the directors, visiting clients and suppliers and a heavy focus on client relationships / repeat business. Highly recommend any customer services representative from either a manufacturing, engineering or supply chain background to apply for this position (will consider call centre).
Location (s): Scunthorpe
Role and Responsibilities
- Informing customers on new product ranges.
- Working closely with Business Development Managers to understand client's needs.
- Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by clients.
- Monitoring company performance against service level agreements and flagging potential issues.
- Passing leads to the sales team and following up on progress.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively
- Organise work flow to meet customer timeframes
- Provide support to Customer Services Director
The Candidate
The successful candidate must have previous experience working as a client relationship manager or a track record of managing client relationships. You will provide the interface between customers and our internal departments. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers is essential.
Essentials
- Ability to embrace change and adopt new working practices and systems.
- Driving licence is advantageous
- Good level of IT skills, specifically SAP and Microsoft Office.
