We are currently seeking Customer Service Welcome Hosts on a 6-month contract basis to join a growing rail business based in Kenilworth.

As a customer service welcome host you will work 33 hours a week, 11 hours per day providing cover Monday - Saturday. The full-time salary will be £21,096pa.

You will be responsible for the safety of the train operating companies' customers, staff and equipment whilst carrying out a range of station duties. You will also be responsible to the Station Manager for the Customer Service at designated station, ensuring that all customers' needs are recognised and met in accordance to Company Standards.

As a Welcome Host your role will include various tasks such as:

• Provide a high standard of customer service at the station and to help maintain a clean, safe and presentable environment to the train operating companies' customers.
• 
  Meeting and greeting passengers prior to boarding train services
  
  Welcome customers to the train operating company by being visible and adjacent to the Station Information Desk and assisting with queries.
  
  Ensure that help is provided to passengers needing assistance with luggage.
  
  To promote and encourage the use of services.
  
  To promote all products and services of the train operating company.
  
  Deal with customers' needs about giving information and assistance with the Ticketing Vending Machines (TVM transactions).
  
  Seek out and assist customers with special needs.
  
  Undertake other reasonable duties as directed by your line manager that are within your personal competence etc.
