The Service Delivery Manager role :

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join our Tyseley Depot management team to play a part in making this aim a reality.

Working a variety of shifts, you will work with other SDMs to manage all aspects of Tyseley Depot ensuring safety, environmental, quality, performance, contractual and budget requirements are met.

As an inspiring leader with a proven track record of successfully management large teams, you will be responsible for leading and directing all depot colleagues to enable the production of correctly maintained, repaired, cleaned and marshalled Traction and Rolling Stock at locations in designated areas in a safe and efficient manner.

You will also oversee facilities and labour resource to ensure Safety, Quality Standards and company profitability are achieved.

The idea Service Delivery Manager will need the following:

Our successful candidate will have significant experience in production management gained within a rail environment and an exceptional ability to communicate, motivate and manage teams of technical staff. You will also possess a sound technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Experience of Human Resource policies and procedures is highly desirable.
